Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Lord Jesus,

As this year comes to an end, and we look forward to the promise of a new year, let us remember Your promises to us. I ask You to bless Pastor Robert, and shine Your light of hope into his heart, in anticipation of the treasures of Your plans for him in the coming year.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 

Seeing the Invisible

¹⁶ Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. ¹⁷ For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, ¹⁸ while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Lord Jesus,

I lift up Pastor Robert, his family, and our church to You. I ask You to give us all Your eternal vision, so that we may see beyond our circumstances, which are temporary. Help us to reach beyond our own human limitations. Throw us an eternal lifeline.

Deuteronomy 31:8

 And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

Lord Jesus,

Please go before Pastor Robert, beside Pastor Robert, and behind Pastor Robert. Let him know You are his past, his present, and his glorious future.

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you;

Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Lord God,

I come before You on behalf of Pastor Robert and his family. I ask You to strengthen them and help them as only You can do.

Please fill Pastor Robert and Calvary Chapel Tucson with hope for the plans You have for us all. Help us to trust in You, even in our darkest moments.

John 14:27 

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Lord Jesus,

Please give Pastor Robert Your comfort on this day. I pray You surround him with Your love. Please let him feel the prayers of all the saints for him. Let him know that You have used him to touch many lives.

Please comfort the heart of Pastor Robert. Please give him rest in You. Please carry this burden with him.
