Day 102

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Lord,

I lift up Pastor Robert, his family, and the Church to You. Thank You, Lord, for the gift of our Salvation-- a gift that came at the price of the blood of Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for Your grace, by which we are saved.

I pray we all remember the cost.

I pray You pour out Your love and faithfulness on Pastor Robert. Wash away his grief in the ocean of Your mercy.

Lord Jesus,

You are Pastor Robert's salvation. I lift him up to You, Lord, and ask You to be his strength through this time of trouble. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit.

Please console Pastor Robert. For as much as he has suffered, measure back to him Your consolation, running over and poured out into his life.

Lord Jesus,

My prayer for Pastor Robert today is for You to empower him with Your divine wisdom as he teaches Your Word to the people of Calvary. Please thoroughly equip him for every good work You have planned for him to do. Complete him as the man of God that he is in Your eyes, Lord.

Whether we walk in the brilliant light of joyous circumstances, or the darkest nights of grief, You are there. Please help Pastor Robert, and all of us, to know You  can, and will, always reach out to Your people. You are not a fair-weather God.
