Lord Jesus,

Bless Pastor Robert with even more knowledge of You. Open his eyes to shining treasures, revealing Your heart in a way that is beyond words.

Pastor Robert surrendered everything to You. He has held back nothing. Please lift him up again.

Lord Jesus,

Your love does change everything. I pray that You make all things new in Pastor Robert's life. Give him new hopes, new dreams, new paths to follow. 

Most of all, give him the courage to let go of what is familiar, and reach into unknown places which You will show him; places he will find in his own heart.

Lord Jesus,

I lift up Pastor Robert to You. He has been like an angel in the lives of many people. Please send Your angels to protect him and keep him in all his ways.

You are our Savior. You are our sun and shield. You love us, and lead us down the path of wisdom. Please be Pastor Robert's wisdom. Let Your knowledge shield him from the fiery darts of the enemy. Let Your love comfort him.

Lord Jesus,

I pray for peace for Pastor Robert, his children, and all the people of the church. I pray that this peace begins inside the hearts of each one of us, and that it is nurtured by Your Holy Spirit.

You are always with us. Please remind Pastor Robert that he is not alone, that You remember him, and that You will come for him too. Let him know that he is not fatherless. He is not an orphan.

Speak to Pastor Robert. Show him the plans You have for him. Lighten his heart with laughter. Tell him the way in which he should go.

Lord Jesus,

I pray that Pastor Robert's soul waits for You. I pray he watches for You in every moment of his life and doesn't hide it in his heart, but shares it; proclaims it to all the world!

Lord Jesus,

Pastor Robert is in Your perfect care. You will refresh him and restore his spirit. You are the keeper of all our souls, and You tend them like precious flowers.

Please be Pastor Robert's joy in his time of suffering.

Lord Jesus,

Wherever we are, and whatever the circumstances of our lives, You are there for us, ready to guide us. You hold our lives cradled in Your hand.

I lift up Pastor Robert to You. I lift up his children. I lift up the people of the church. I don't know what others are suffering, what heartbreaks they endure, but I know that You do, Lord. 

You are able to hold Pastor Robert in Your hand. You are able to hold each and every one of Your people in Your hand. No matter where we lose ourselves, You will always find us.

Please comfort Your people Lord.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Lord Jesus,

Please continue to lead Pastor Robert by Your Spirit, and remind him who he is to You. He is a son of God. He is Your beloved.

Go before Pastor Robert and defeat all things that come against him. By the word of his testimony, may he be delivered from evil. Hold his life in Your hands and keep it safe.

Please give Pastor Robert knowledge, understanding, and wisdom as he ministers to the church. Give him sound judgment. Speak through him, Lord, words of eternal life.

Lord Jesus,

I lift up Pastor Robert to You. I ask You to send him to the places where You would have him to go. He is willing to serve You, Lord, with every breath, with every day You have granted him, until his very last moment in this world.

Lead him to the lost, the lonely, the unloved. Light up his path with the pages of Your Word. Show him the way home.

The Lord has revealed our righteousness.
Come and let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God.

Jeremiah 51:10

Lord Jesus,

You have revealed Your righteousness in Pastor Robert. He endeavors  to reveal Your righteousness in us. He is a living testimony of the work of the Lord our God. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and from his mouth, bring forth healing to this church.

A man’s steps are of the Lord;

How then can a man understand his own way?

Proverbs 20:24

Lord Jesus,

So often we don't understand Your plans for us. Sometimes we get lost in the "Why?" 

Most of the time we will never know the answer. Help us to remember that the only question we need to ask is: "Does God know best?" 

Do we trust You? Do we believe that You have our very best interests in Your heart? Does Pastor Robert know this?

 I believe he does, Lord. But that knowledge doesn't come without the pain of Your will.

I lift up Pastor Robert to You. I ask You to encourage him along his way, even when he isn't able to see where his steps are leading in this world. He already knows where his steps are ultimately leading him. Take his hand, Lord, and don't let go.

You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;

Lord Jesus,

Please show Pastor Robert where the path of life leads. Help him find his way through this world of joy and tears. Bring him past the places of pain. Come and fill him up again.

Lord Jesus,

Bring forth Your promises for Pastor Robert, his children, and Calvary Chapel Tucson. Like the stars in the sky, Your promises are too great to be numbered, and they sparkle in the darkness of our tears.

Cover us with a canopy of spiritual jewels, and show us the true meaning of rags to riches.

Please give Pastor Robert many things to be thankful for. Bring forth a rainbow of blessings into his life. Set Your praises upon his lips.
